SO WHAT ABOUT SIN?

The following writing is to be meditated upon and the word of God checked out.  Prayerfully read these writings with your focus on God impacting and imparting to you what is to be for you in your life now.

While I use 'HE' when referring to God, I want to clearly state here and now that GOD is both male and female - for we are made in the image of God, and we are males and females.  God is male/female, man/womb-man, father/mother, king/queen, son/daughter.  We are children of God and are replicates of who God is - male/female.  As in All in All -- all parts of the whole, and the whole of all parts.

There is more than evidence of this fact throughout the bible, and if you seek the Lord with all your heart and cry out to God to know the truth, you will receive and know, and believe.

So What

SO WHAT ABOUT SIN/SINS?

There are many 'beliefs' about sin/sins; in fact, people invent their own 'beliefs' based on their 'understanding' of scripture or what a preacher/teacher/evangelist/priest/ person of influence states.

What you believe you bring into your life.  Because you believe it about someone else doesn't really matter.  It is what you believe that determines how your life is affected.

If you point the finger, talk about, gossip, judge, lie and become part of destroying a person's reputation or the person; you are not believing God.  No way!

Let's look at some of God's Words to see if we can come to a clear view of sin/sins from God's perspective. Read Romans Chapter 3:

 In Romans 3:23 it states:

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

All means all and includes every man, woman, child on this earth.  For those who say children are innocent, I point out that sin is not based on what you do, but it is part of who we are through the 1st human being, male-female/Adam's choice.  Sin is in our heritage from the 1st Adam/male-female.

So child or no, we are all sinners as part of our heritage.  It doesn't matter what your parents or generations before or after you do.  Your dad is a pastor, doesn't matter.  Our new life in Christ is based on each one of us making our own choice - life in Christ or death in us. Let me ask you a very important question. Is sin greater than Jesus, greater than God? No Way! So why are we all so 'caught up' in sins as if they have any power over our lives, really.? Paul led by the Holy Spirit, put it in the right perspective, and walked the walk to and through the answer in Romans. Let's check it out. 1. Romans 7:6: But now we are delivered a. from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; b. that we should serve in newness of spirit, c. and not in the oldness of the letter.

Here we are brought to the first step: WE ARE DELIVERED. From What? The Letter of the Law, where we were held captive 'being dead'. Why? So we can serve (as in be) in the NEWNESS OF SPIRIT LIFE - as in we are born again of the Spirit of Life, so we can serve/live in the Spirit. Free from being 'held' anymore in the oldness of the letter of the law-life = sin. Okay, now what? Well, read the 13th verse to the end of the chapter.  Romans 7:

13: Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid! But sin, that it might appear as sin, was working death in me by that which is good, that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

14: For we know that the law is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold under sin.

15: For that which I do, I know not. For what I would do, that do I not; but what I hate, that I do.

16: If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law, that it is good.

17: Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

18: For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing; for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good, I find not.

19: For the good that I would do, I do not; but the evil which I would not do, that I do.

20: Now if I do that which I would not do, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21: I find then a law that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22: For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.

23: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24: O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25: I thank God -- through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

Spiritually Think About This

In 1 John 1:5-10 and 6: we find God sharing a very powerful truth, meant to 'make us free'.  Let's check the scriptures out further.

Vs. 5    This is the message which we have heard from Him

And declare to you that God is Light and in Him is

            No darkness at all:

            1)    This is the message (communication, point,  significance) which :

                 a)    we have heard from Him and

                 b)   (we) declare to you that

                                             i.      God is Light and

ii.      In Him is no darkness at all

Notice that John says 'we' have heard and declare - not I but we.  We the leadership, we the apostles, we the disciples, we the believers, we the members of the body of Christ.  Hmmm.

Who hears also declares to us, having heard from God the Father and Jesus His only begotten Son, through the Spirit of Truth - we declare what?

That God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.

God is speaking here and says we as inclusive and multiplicity (all in all for all).  John speaking through the anointing, the Holy Spirit, points out that we have heard from Him.  Who is Him?  Jesus? The Spirit bears witness not of himself but of Jesus. John 15:26

But when the Comforter comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. (Jesus speaking)

As John speaks, the Spirit of truth from the Father, testifies of 'Jesus speaking to' John and the apostles and the leaders and the members of the body.

When we read the bible, it is our choice to receive the Spirit of Truth, and then we are blessed with insights into God's love, mercy, grace and will for us.

God wants us to know that He is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all.

PART TWO:  A closer look at the key to salvation  -  our choice, obedience-life, disobedience-death.

Jesus - the Living Word made flesh, the only begotten son of God, lived a life without sin.  There was no sin in him or on him - why because he was the Living Word, and was obedient step by step through out his life.  Now let's visit the Garden, where Jesus is sweating blood - if you check this out, you will find that it takes incredible pressure for one to sweat blood - the capillaries are bursting in your head because of the stress and pressure you are undergoing -- it takes a lot, a Lot, A LOT of pressure and stress.

So Jesus was sweating blood - let's look closer at the 'why' - could it be that he did not want to be separate from his heavenly Father, God?  I mean there had never been this type of separation - what type - the type that death had at the time.  Jesus did not want to be separated through death from his heavenly Father, God. I believe this was the greatest pressure on Jesus - the other pressures of being beaten with a whip that ripped his flesh off of his body, having his beard pulled out of his face, being punched and kicked, and a crown of thorns shoved onto his head - that pierced his skull and entered into his brain.  Being nailed to the cross and hanging in front of angry at him people.  Uh uh uh.

I believe you can identify with those factors of suffering and so Jesus' soul was crying out against the separation factor and all the 'stuff' he would bear in the separation process - 'NO WAY, FATHER, NO WAY!'  Now Jesus was a man, yes but he was the 2nd Adam man -- as in a new creation -- who was birthed to pay for the sins of the world -- as in the very need that all humanity and the world lived under.

Jesus prayed intensely and was tempted, I believe for the first time, with the basic choice we face 24/7

obedience or not.  Even with all his mind, emotions and soul calling out against the coming action - which the enemy of his soul made sure he saw vividly, still Jesus knew he had a choice -- and here is the difference between the Living Word, 2nd Adam son and the rest of us- JESUS KNEW HE HAD A CHOICE!

And so at the end of the struggle, and he had to go through it all - Jesus cried out - FATHER, IF THIS CUP CAN PASS, NEVERTHELESS NOT MY WILL, BUT YOUR WILL BE DONE = OBEDIENCE!!!!

Now I want you to remember that Paul says we die daily. -- So what is the cross that we pick up daily in these earthen vessels?  The cross of our will outside of God, that we surrender to God as in being crucified with Christ, nevertheless we live,  We choose in the face of all of our suffering and addictive behaviors to ACKNOWLEDGE GOD in all of our ways (good, bad, and ugly) - as in invite God into our lives no matter how bad as in full of sinful activities, surrender this all to God, like the Prodigal Son did surrounded by pigs - which at the time was considered the greatest curse/sin you could be under or do.

Yes we get to choose to acknowledge God, and accept God's invitation to be one with Him.  This is the process of the soul-seed dying daily to provide new life for the quickening spirits we are, once we have chosen to accept the gift of new life in Christ.  - We follow Jesus' path and while we may suffer from our thoughts and emotions as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death (this life on earth) we can rejoice in knowing that GREATER IS HE (CHRIST) within us than he (our old man linked to the enemy of our souls) that is in the world.  New life in us is greater than the old life of bondage that this earthen vessel is still sensitive to.

The baby view of new life was all about performance - the mature view of new life is all about Who you are in Christ Jesus, and Whose you are - a child of God.  Sin may cause some oops! factors in your life - but sin does not reign -- if it still around, you are going through the valley of the shadow of death so you can eat at the banqueting table prepared in the midst of your enemies -- all that junk.

Jesus bore all of the sins of the world for us to be able TO BE FREE - by our choice 24/7 -  and when he rose again from the dead, the lock of sin was broken, the thirst of sin was fulfilled as was the hunger of sin.

Our souls in need no longer drive us, they provide for us a way out of no way.  While we endure the pain we surrender to the gain - God makes a way out of the no way of our need.

As Jesus said, the seed must fall into the earth and die -- just as the original Adam had to fall so did Jesus the 2nd Adam have to fall.  And as Jesus pointed out, the seed dies so there can be more -- and for those of you who are wondering about this - check out how a seed grows - it must first die.

Well, God does all things decently and in order -- he turns to the good what was meant for evil - or twisted -- yes I said twisted because if you turn evil around (as in twist) it is live!!!

What?  E V I L = L I V E - Get it? Got it! Done!!

OMG! Exactly. Praise Him!!! His Mercy Endures Forever!!! His Love Never Fails!!! And His Grace is given to and for us, forever!!!
